Kim Kardashian got an unexpected welcome when she took the stage for Tom Brady’s Netflix roast.
On Sunday, May 5, during a live taping of Netflix’s The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady, Kardashian, 43, was booed by the audience after she took the stage at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
“Thank you,” the SKIMS founder said as the reaction from the crowd turned from cheers to jeers.
“I know a lot of people make fun of your height,” she continued as she tried to push through the moment and get into her segment of jokes before having to pause as the negative response got louder.
“Alright, alright, alright,” she then said, trying to ease the moment while someone off-camera could be heard saying, “Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.”

Despite the reaction, Kardashian maintained her composure as she made fun of the dating rumors involving the retired NFL quarterback.
“I wasn’t going to come tonight, but since I’m not here as Tom’s date, there’s still a good chance I might,” she quipped. “Speaking of Tom and I dating, I know there were some rumors that we were, and I’d never say if we did or not. I’d just release the tape.”
The Kardashians star then joked that even if she and Brady, 46, did date, “it would never work out” because him being “an ex-athlete [with] high cheekbones, silky hair” reminded her of her former stepparent, Caitlyn Jenner.
She added, “Part of me thinks you would want to undress me, just to try on my clothes.”
Kardashian also used her time onstage to reference her late father Robert Kardashian Sr.’s time as an attorney for O.J. Simpson during his infamous 1994 murder trial. “Honestly, it’s hard for me to watch people roast you, but I think enough of my family members have helped defend former football players,” she deadpanned.

The American Horror Story: Delicate actress wrapped up her three-minute roast by saying, “I’m just here tonight to support you and celebrate you. I’ll give you the same advice I give all of my exes: good luck knowing the best is behind you.”
The Kardashians star was one of many big names to take a stab at making fun of Brady during the roast, which was hosted by Kevin Hart. Friends and former teammates who also took the stage included Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, Nikki Glaser, Drew Bledsoe and Randy Moss.
Additionally, Will Ferrell made an appearance as Ron Burgundy, the fictional newsman he played in 2004’s Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and 2013’s Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.
The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady is now streaming on Netflix.
