Fans of “American Idol” are now begging the singing show to remove Katy Perry as a judge after a bizarre video of the “Smile” songstress acting like a cat while wearing a tight-fitting leather suit went viral on Saturday.
The “Part of Me” singer has been the subject of several social media rants and nasty comments over her provocative — and possibly “rude” — coaching methods during the show’s 21st season.
In the video, which was posted to the official “Idol” Instagram, Perry, 38, Luke Bryan, 46, and Lionel Richie, 73, are sitting at the judge’s table when the “All Night Long” singer remarked on his co-judges outfit by saying “we have cat woman with us.”
Richie’s joke elicited laughter from Bryan who called his co-judge “Katy Purry.”
Taking both comments in stride, the “Peacock” singer hopped up on her chair and extended her left leg before returning to a crouching position and holding her hands up like paws.

“I’m ready to prowl for talent,” purred the singer.
Perry then began to paw at Bryan’s shoulder while the country singer seemingly ignored the “I Kissed a Girl” singer’s antics.
“That’s me pawing,” said the singer in an attempt to get Bryan’s attention.

The bizarre video did not sit well with fans of the show as several commented that they “can’t stand” Perry’s behavior anymore.
“Can’t stand her they need to get rid of her & Luke,” commented one fan.
“She’s ridiculous,” chimed in another.

One fan claimed that they “lost respect” for Perry, while another person said the entire act was “so stupid.”
The Post reached out to Perry for comment.
This is not the first time the “Dark Horse” has faced negative feed back.
Toward the beginning of the season, Perry woke up in infamy after she seemingly mom-shamed Sara Beth Liebe, 25, who quit the show after saying she wanted to spend more time with her three children.

The singer further annoyed fans when she was seemingly “dismissive” of a contestant when one of her favorite competitors was eliminated and then proceeded to wage “psychological warfare.”
Perry managed to escape the ire of fans after being briefly replaced with Alanis Morissette.
Hoping that Morrissette would not be “the one that got away,” fans attempted to create a petition begging the “Jagged Little Pill” singer to stay permanently.
In recent weeks, Perry claimed that the producers of “Idol” have not shown her “Unconditional” loyalty and “threw her under the bus” and intentionally edited footage to make her look like the “nasty” judge.
