Megan Thee Stallion has been hitting the fest circuit this summer, particularly in Europe. One of her most recent was Switzerland’s Gurtenfestival, where she performed after Erykah Badu.

The legendary artist ended up hopping on stage during the rap superstar’s set, and to Megan’s surprise and delight, Badu twerked in front of the audience while “Kitty Kat” played.

“When I tell yallll my girl @erykahbadu shocked thee sh*t outta me,” the Houston native wrote alongside a video of Badu dancing. “I did not know she was bout to get up here and cut up like this in Switzerland. Real mf TEXAS SH!T REAL MF HOT GIRL SH!T.”

In the video, Badu is seen taking off her vest before she gives the crowd a show in her cutoff jean shorts and white t-shirt. She even puts her hands on the floor and later gets on her knees in a three-point twerk turn before getting up to continue her dance.

Badu shared a bunch of posts on her IG Stories as well, writing on one, “Meg said go in!!!!” Taraji P. Henson, mainstay Stallion produce LilJuMadeDaBeat, Lauren Jauregui, and more celebrated the moment in Meg’s comments.

Meg also played London’s Wireless Festival earlier this month, where she popped out during Cardi B’s headlining set to perform “WAP.” The last time they played the song together was at the 2021 Grammy Awards.

“Here’s my motherfuckin’ bitch, I love her,” Cardi told the massive crowd, prompting Megan to begin twerking. “I can’t get freaky with her, ’cause you know, that’s my brother’s girlfriend.”
