NICKI Minaj has been ripped by fans for mentioning Megan Thee Stallion’s deceased mother in her new song.

The rap stars have been feuding for years but took things up a notch over the weekend by seemingly slamming each other in their new music releases.

It all started when Megan, 28, appeared to subtly shade Nicki, 41, in her single, Hiss, released on Friday.

“These h**s don’t be mad at Megan, these h**s mad at Megan’s Law/ I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start/ B***h, you a p***y, never finna check me/ Every chance you get, bet your weak a** won’t address me,” Megan rapped.

Some critics thought the Savage rapper took a swipe at Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty, 45 – who is a registered sex offender – by mentioning Megan’s Law, which requires the disclosure of some information about registered sex offenders to the public.

Nicki went off on Megan in return by releasing a surprise track called Big Foot at midnight on Monday.

However, the Super Bass rapper wasn’t as subtle in her lyrics, which highlighted Megan’s 2020 shooting incident when rapper Tory Lanez, 31, shot her in the foot after a pool party at Kylie Jenner’s house.

In August, Tory was sentenced to nearly eight months in prison after he was found guilty of the shooting.

“Bad b***h she like six foot, I call her Big Foot/ The b***h fell off, I said get up on your good foot,” Nicki rapped.

At another point in the song, the Grammy Award nominee took another dig at Megan by mentioning the star’s late mother, who died in 2019 from brain cancer.

“Big foot, but you still a small fry/Swearin’ on your dead mother when you lie,” she sang.

Nicki first shared the track in an Instagram Live and continued to tease Megan by posting a photo of her manicured feet and liking fans’ tweets dissing the Body rapper.

FANS’ REACTIONS

Many social media users were outraged over Nicki’s blows and thought the performer went a bit too far.

“I listened to the song on Twitter… genuinely one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard. It’s crazy cuz if she just dropped a genuinely great diss she probably could’ve gained a lot of goodwill back. Rip Nicki’s career,” one person commented.

“So we can all agree to go stream Hiss and make it go #1, right?” someone else wrote.

“I’m just in awe of the absolute size of this L,” said a third.

“This feels like a desperate death rattle, no one cares about her no mo,” stated a fourth.

“Not to be dramatic, but this really does feel like it might be the final nail in her career’s coffin, at least going forward. Even the diehard barbs are struggling to defend this one…” predicted a fifth.

“My head hurts trying to make sense of that, we need a too long didn’t read version. Why does she keep bringing up Megan’s dead mother? She’s been through enough already without having to dredge that back up,” remarked a sixth.

The backlash continued in another thread, with many siding with Megan.

“Nicki is really going out sad. And it’s embarrassing,” one critic wrote.

“It’s so elementary, especially in comparison to Megan’s lyrics. Nicki needs to be embarrassed,” a second said.

“She is completely off her rocker and her fans fuel the flames of her insanity,” bashed another.

“I’ve never seen a person more jealous and miserable that doesn’t have to be,” a final added.

ONGOING BEEF

Feud rumors began several years ago when Megan unfollowed Nicki on Instagram, despite gushing over the singer’s talents after their collab on the 2019 hit Hot Girl Summer.

Fans noticed their friendship appeared to shift when Megan teamed up with Nicki’s apparent rival, Cardi B, 31, on their hit song WAP.

Many were convinced that triggered their beef.

The pair have since been at odds and appeared to take jabs at each other in several songs over the years.
