In his rookie season, Wembanyama has become the first NBA player to record over 1,500 points, 250 blocks, and 100 three-pointers in a single season.

The first-ever stat line has some fans claiming him to be the best rookie ever, and on track to be one of the game’s greatest players.

“Wemby is the best rookie by far,” one fan said.

The Nuggets, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Minnesota Timberwolves are all tied at the top with a record of 56-25.

Currently with tiebreakers, the Thunder are at the No. 1 seed, the Timberwolves are the No. 2 seed, and the Nuggets are the No. 3 seed.

All three of the teams are guaranteed at least the No. 3 seed.

On paper, the Nuggets have the easiest path to the No. 1 seed, as they take on the 27-54 Memphis Grizzlies.

The Thunder take on the No. 5 seed Dallas Mavericks and the Timberwolves face the No. 7 seed Phoenix Suns.
