The clip shows off how long she’s been working at her rap career.
Back in 2022 Latto emerged as one of the biggest stars in rap music on the back of her hit song “Big Energy.”
She followed it up with a pretty big 2023 where she scored two of the biggest hits of the year. Her team-up with Cardi B “Put It On Da Floor Again” landed on the year end Hot 100.
As did the Jung Kook song “Seven” which she featured on. The track debuted at number one on the Hot 100 which made her the first rapper to top the chart in 2023.
But her career didn’t just start in 2022. In fact, she’s been releasing projects since all the way back in 2016 and it took a while for her grind to pay off.
Now, new video making the rounds online proves just how long Latto has been working at her rap career.
In the throwback video she’s performing a show as a 13-year-old showing off her rap skills at a very young age. In the comments, fans show love to her for her commitment. “She beat All the Industry plant Allegations,” reads one of the top comments on the post. Check out the full video of her performance below.
13-Year-Old Latto Flexes Her Rap Skills
That would make sense as fans are still trying to unravel whether or not one of Nicki’s biggest allies Ice Spice has real beef with the “Big Energy” rapper either. That speculation was re-sparked recently when Spice appeared in the background of one of her recent TikToks.
Last week, Latto also played fans a segment of some new music. While some were focused on her appearance others broke down the snippet she played.
