IT’S FAIR to say that Dolly Parton is one of the biggest singers in the world.

The country music star has been thrilling fans for over four decades and she continues to wow people by looking so fabulous.

What did young Dolly Parton look like?

Dolly Parton, 75, was born in Tennessee, US, on January 19, 1946.

Born to Robert and Avie Lee Parton, the Partons grew up near the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee’s Sevier County.

The family had next to nothing back then, but what they did have was a passion for music, instilled in them by their mother, who always encouraged them to sing at home and at church.

“Singing was like breathing at home,” Dolly’s sister Rachel told People back in 1982.

They lived in a small cabin where they slept six to a bed.

However, she is now the most honoured female country performer of all time, achieving a whopping 25 RIAA certified Gold, Platinum, and Multi-Platinum awards.

Dolly has had 25 songs reach No 1 on the Billboard country music charts – a record for a female artist.

She has nine Grammy Awards, two Academy Award nominations, ten Country Music Association Awards, seven Academy of Country Music Awards, three American Music Awards.

The singer has been very honest about cosmetic surgery and has had a number of procedures over the years to enhance her looks.

She’s had a breast augmentation, breast implants, a brow lift, surgery on her eyelids, a nose job and her chin operated on.

In July 2021 Dolly proved she has still got it, by recreating her famous Playboy bunny look from 1978.
