Megan Thee Stallion Sparks Controversy with Latest Release, Dissing Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.

Megan Thee Stallion seems to be reigniting old feuds in her latest track, “Boa,” where she takes aim at fellow rappers Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. Megan has been consistently releasing music, and her upcoming album is no exception to the controversy.

In “Cobra,” a previous song from the album, Megan addressed her breakup with ex-boyfriend Pardison Fontaine, countering rumors that he left her due to infidelity and a drinking problem.

Instead, she revealed it was Fontaine who cheated on her, as she caught him with another woman. Megan didn’t hold back, stating in the song, “Pulled up, caught him cheating, getting his de sucked in the same spot I’m sleeping.”

Fontaine didn’t deny the allegations and responded by shaming Megan again, calling her derogatory names and mocking her. Megan, however, stood her ground, finally telling her side of the story.

In another track, “His,” Megan clapped back at Drake and Nicki Minaj. Before Megan won her case against Tory Lanez, Drake shaded her in “Circo Loco,” suggesting she lied about being shot.

Megan responded with lines criticizing male rappers who insult women but undergo cosmetic procedures themselves. She also took a swipe at Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, alluding to his criminal past, which didn’t go unnoticed by Nicki. Nicki retaliated with a diss track, “Bigfoot,” and continued to mock Megan publicly.

Despite the drama, these controversies boosted Megan’s songs on the Billboard Hot 100. “Cobra” peaked at number 32, and “His” reached number one. However, with her latest release, “Boa,” fans noticed a pattern of Megan dissing other rappers, seemingly to create controversy and promote her music.

In “Boa,” Megan hints at a fallout with Cardi B, despite their previous collaborations. She raps about rivals pretending to be sweet but hiding bitterness, possibly referring to Cardi’s recent pop venture with Shakira. She also disses Nicki Minaj again, addressing Nicki’s ongoing rants about her and calling for her to retire.

The repeated shading and beef with other artists have led fans to believe Megan is using these conflicts to keep her name in the headlines and her music in the charts. Some fans criticize her for targeting Cardi and Nicki, suggesting she’s using their names for clout.
