Reality stars, celebrities, and hundreds of fans all excitedly took to the comments of the announcement raving over the iconic “sanasa” being reunited once again. Jersey Shore’s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi wrote: “STAHPPPPPPPP.” While Dancing with the Stars alum Julianne Hough commented: “Oh. My. God!!!!!!!” And makeup guru James Charles echoed: “OH MY GODDDD.”

According to sources who spoke to TMZ, Hilton and Richie have confirmed they are planning a new series, although it won’t be a direct continuation of The Simple Life. While the premise of the show remains in an air of mystery, it’s known that it will have a new title. The pair have reportedly been discussing the project for months and are now ready to kick off production.

The Simple Life, which aired from 2003 to 2007, saw the pair leave their luxurious lifestyles behind to take on various internships on the East Coast. Over five seasons and 55 episodes, viewers were engulfed in the drama as they watched the famous pair work in settings ranging from farms and fast food joints to funeral homes. And now, fans are eagerly awaiting what’s to come as the two enter a new chapter of their lives nearly two decades later as they both navigate their forties.

Fans sensed that the announcement was on the way earlier this week as the blonde beauties each took to Instagram sharing nostalgic throwback snaps of their best memories together over the years. In the identical posts, the duo both captioned the college snaps as: “From Day 1: Sill and Bill.”
